The Minneapolis & St. Louis Railway depicts the Thirteenth Subdivision located between Watertown and Aberdeen, SD in September, 1957. A rural granger road, the M&St.L serves numerous elevators, mills and farm-related industries.

The walk-in multi-level design with a single track, fully sceniced helix allows for the occasional helper to be required on the grades and provides a long run in a compact space. At any given time about 180 cars are on the layout. This layout was featured in Great Model Railroads 2007.
