The Cincinnati Southern Railway is set between Cincinnati, Ohio and Chattanooga, Tennessee. Scenery is well under way and will be complete for Minn-Rail 2007. The layout is well-balanced with a variety of switching opportunities from large industries to the coal patrol which serves small tipples on the line. Danville Yard is a busy place with plenty of classifying and block swapping on most though trains. Industries and small yards keep switch crews busy and the helpers are always going up or down hill.

I have taken the free-lance approach and have no regrets because it allows for the variety mentioned above. Southern or Norfolk Southern fans will not be disappointed. NS still runs through trains and the high hood locos are everywhere. Scenery is also depicted from the prototype which includes many of the scenes the Rathole is famous for.
